When the card is invalid, the pipe column is reversed or the column is cut. For high-angle wells, especially horizontal wells, conventional rotary undercuts and mechanical cutting are not ideal. There are many shortcomings in the commonly used tubing cutting methods in China: the inner diameter of the tubing is small, and only chemical cutting and energy-cutting can be performed. The chemical cutting residual cutting fluid is easy to cause casing damage; the fish top is irregular after the cutting of the energy, and is followed by The salvage treatment is inconvenient. Therefore, a small-diameter in-pipe hydraulic cutter was developed to solve the problem of cutting the tubing. The hydrodynamic principle is adopted to cut the oil pipe from the inside of the stuck oil pipe. The oil pipe can be cut at any depth of the well. The operation process is simple and convenient, and the construction efficiency of the coiled pipe is higher.

1Technical analysis li structure principle The structure of the small diameter in-line hydraulic cutter is mainly composed of upper joint, spring, mandrel, piston, cutting blade, cone, nozzle, and shoes. The utility model is characterized in that the cutting blade and the power piston are connected by a cone, the design is novel, the structure is simple, the cutting operation is fast, convenient and accurate.

The working principle is as follows: the ground cement truck provides power, the piston is moved up, the mandrel is pushed, the compression spring moves the cone upward, the cutting blade is pushed out at a 45° angle, the cement truck continuously injects liquid at the rated displacement, and the cutting blade Keep locked (with 3 cutting blades) to keep itself stable, and the tool is equipped with replaceable nozzles, which can be adjusted to change the flow rate and activation speed. The tool is rotated by the downhole power motor in the downhole string. When the cutting is performed and the local pump pressure drops, the tubing is cut.

2 Operation method Determine the cutting blade material and size according to the inner diameter and material of the pipe string to be cut.

Connect the tool and tighten the threads, pins and fittings of the tool components.

The small diameter pipe hydraulic cutter tool is placed to the predetermined cutting position, and the drilling process is smooth and the speed is uniform.

The brakes are braked when the tool reaches the predetermined position.

In the cutting operation, attention should be paid to controlling the pump pressure and gradually increasing the construction pressure. It is not possible to pump to the highest pressure once.

3 Application effect Since 2011-05-2012-04, a small-diameter tube hydraulic cutter has been tested in the field to deal with 4 wells in the tube column. The construction success rate is 100%. The statistics are shown in Table 1. For example: STT142X60 well, electric pump Production, pump depth 2051.5m, underload shutdown. In 2011, when the operation was carried out, the pipe string was encountered, and the production pipe string was U62mmN80 oil pipe. The calculated card point was 2032.2m, and the sand scale card unit was judged. In order not to complicate the construction of the unloading of the card, the small-diameter in-pipe hydraulic cutting process is used to cut the tubing above the card point and then salvage. The order of cutting the column from bottom to bottom is: small diameter tube internal hydraulic cutting tool + hydraulic centralizer + small diameter hydraulic motor + hydraulic mechanical anchor + safety joint + filter + small diameter tubing to the wellhead, hydraulic cutter to 2 021.3 m, equipped with anti-spray wellhead device, using 700 type cement truck positive pressure pump to inject clear water as power source, displacement 0.12m3/min, pump pressure is gradually stabilized at 2225MPa from 0, after 14min pumping, the pressure suddenly drops to 17MPa, showing After cutting, the cutting column can be proposed. A total of 210 tube strings were found, which were cut from the upper middle part of the 211th, and the end face of the oil pipe was flattened, which laid the foundation for subsequent casing milling.

The blade moves smoothly during cutting, and the top surface of the fish is cut after cutting compared with the shaped cutting, which is convenient for subsequent fishing operations.

The cutter blade is made of inlaid hard alloy for high cutting speed and long service life.

The blade can be adjusted according to the material of the cutting tubing to meet the requirements of cutting different material tubing such as U62mm and 076mm.
