Technical requirements for exhaust valves

1 main technical parameters

a. The nominal pressure of the exhaust valve is PN10.

b. The sealing test pressure is 1.1 MPa.

c. The strength test pressure is 1.5 MPa.

d. The water closing pressure of the exhaust valve should be ≤0.02 MPa.

e. The air closing pressure of the exhaust valve should be ≥0.07 MPa.

f. The pressure test should meet the requirements of the standard GB/T13927.

g. The connecting flange should meet the requirements of the standard GB/T17241.6-98.

2 performance requirements

a. The exhaust valve should have a large displacement. When the pipe empty pipe is filled with water, the rapid exhaust gas can be restored to the normal water supply capacity in a very short time.

b. When the exhaust valve has negative pressure inside the pipe, the piston should be able to open quickly and quickly inhale a large amount of outside air to ensure that the pipeline will not be damaged by negative pressure. And under the working pressure, it can discharge the trace air accumulated in the pipeline.

c. The exhaust valve should have a relatively high air closing pressure. In the short time before the piston is closed, it should have sufficient capacity to discharge the air in the pipeline to improve the water delivery efficiency.

d. The water closing pressure of the exhaust valve should be no more than 0.02 MPa, and the exhaust valve can be closed at a lower water pressure to avoid a large amount of water.

e. The exhaust valve should be made of stainless steel float (float) for opening and closing.

f. The valve body of the exhaust valve should be equipped with an anti-shock protection inner cylinder to prevent the high-speed water flow directly impacting the floating ball (floating bucket) after a large amount of exhaust gas, causing premature damage of the floating ball (floating bucket).

g. For the exhaust valve with DN ≥ 100, the exhaust valve is composed of a large number of exhaust valves and automatic exhaust valves to meet the requirements of pipeline pressure. The automatic exhaust valve should adopt a double lever mechanism to greatly increase the buoyancy of the float ball, and the water level is low, the impurities in the water are not easy to contact the sealing surface, the exhaust port will not be blocked, and the anti-clogging performance can be greatly improved. At the same time, under the condition of high pressure, due to the force of the double lever, the float ball can be lowered synchronously with the water level, and the opening and closing member will not be sucked by the high pressure like the conventional valve, so that the air is normally exhausted.

h. For high flow rate, frequent start of the pump, the working condition of the diameter DN ≧ 100, in order to slow the impact of water flow, the exhaust valve should be equipped with a buffer plug valve. The buffer plug valve should prevent a large amount of water spray but does not affect a large amount of exhaust gas, so that the water delivery efficiency is not affected, and the water hammer is effectively prevented.
