Overview of rigid polyurethane foam prefabricated panels

The rigid polyurethane foam prefabricated board (hereinafter referred to as the prefabricated board) refers to a flaky foamed profile which is foamed and formed in a factory state (standard formulation, standard temperature, standard pressure). There are two ways to form:

1 large-volume one-time foam molding, and then a thin plate is formed by a cutting process.

2 The assembly line is formed by laminating, and the liquid material is continuously foamed through the assembly line, and controlled by a laminating machine to obtain a plate with a certain thickness and width, and trimmed and cut into a standard plate body. The thickness of the plate is generally controlled to be about 15 to 50 mm. The width is generally set at 600~1200mm, and the length is generally set at 1200~2400mm. It can also be specially made according to user requirements.

Prefabricated panels used in building exterior wall insulation projects can be divided into three forms:

1 Ordinary prefabricated board: the surface of the board is not treated, and it is purely a polyurethane foam cutting surface.

2 composite prefabricated board: the surface of the board is treated by the interface, and the surface properties have changed to the surface of the inorganic material or the surface of the fiber or the surface of the coupling agent. Mainly to improve the surface energy of the board, improve the adhesion or affinity of the board (with bonding mortar or plastering mortar).

3Integrated prefabricated panels: The surface of the panel is based on the interface treatment, and then the functional materials are added, such as the decorative surface layer and the waterproof surface layer, so that the prefabricated panels become a multi-functional new material and reduce the construction link. Improve the quality assurance factor and reduce the overall cost.

Due to the advantages of polyurethane foam, rigid polyurethane foam prefabricated panels are one of the top products in building envelope energy-saving materials, and are the main development direction of building energy-saving materials in the future.
