Abstract: This paper describes the measurement method of Mazda engine cylinder head inlet and exhaust valve seat.

1. The question is raised:
The measurement requirements of the Mazda engine cylinder head inlet and exhaust valve seat are shown in Figure 1. The diameter of the intake valve seat is between the theoretical value φ33.5mm and the distance between the center line of the conduit hole and the bottom surface of the cylinder head is 9.5±0.1. The diameter of the valve seat is from the theoretical value φ28.3mm to the intersection of the center line of the conduit hole and the bottom surface of the cylinder head is 9.2±0.1. Since the width of the valve seat of the engine cylinder cover is only 1mm, the depth of the seat is measured on the coordinate measuring machine. It is a problem.
2. Solution:
In order to solve the above problems, through the in-depth analysis of product size requirements, the intake valve seat depth measuring aid and the exhaust valve seat depth measuring aid are designed.
The special auxiliary tool for design measurement is shown in Fig. 2. The effect of the ball Sφ8±0.01mm is used to measure the distance from the center of the ball to the bottom surface of the cylinder head after the auxiliary tool is placed in the product positioning. The D! and D2 dimensions are the theoretical diameter dimensions of the intake and exhaust valve seat seats. The function is the theoretical size of the measured diameter of the product when the accessory is positioned. Φ5.509-0.005 is used for the positioning of the auxiliary device and the catheter hole, and the function is to ensure the matching gap between the auxiliary device and the catheter hole, and reduce the measurement error. The auxiliary materials are selected from T10 carbon tool steel and quenched above HRC50. The purpose is to ensure wear resistance and improve service life.
