Invented by the ancient Romans, many of the remaining classical buildings in Europe now have the shadow of red bricks on the roof and walls.

In ancient China, the brick-burning process was mature before the Warring States Period. However, because the hierarchical system could not burn red bricks, it was necessary to add some processes to become bricks after burning red bricks.

In the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, the history of burning red bricks was only available to our people.

China's traditional brick making process is to close the whole kiln in the late stage of firing high temperature, so that the oxygen supply in the kiln is insufficient, and the iron ions in the brick are reduced from red ferric to green low-priced iron. . However, because the brick brick has a complicated firing process, high energy consumption, small output, high cost, and it is difficult to achieve automation and mechanized production. After the large-scale industrial brick making equipment such as wheel kiln and brick-extruding machinery came out, the red brick has been leaps and bounds. Development, while the bricks are still used in addition to individual antique buildings, they have basically withdrawn from the stage of history.

With the development of science and technology and the enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection, new and unfired bricks are constantly coming out, but experts believe that red bricks are still the best performance and comfort wall materials. In the future, the status of red bricks for a long time is still difficult to replace.

Since the reform and opening up, China's red brick production has grown geometrically, but many small red brick factories have borrowed and burned bricks to indiscriminately, causing a large number of farmland to be destroyed. Therefore, since 1993, the state has begun to restrict and ban the destruction. The behavior of Tianzhu bricks is expressly banned from the production of clay solid bricks, restricting the production of clay hollow bricks, the so-called “forbidden viscosity limit” policy, while promoting and encouraging the production of red bricks from shale bricks and coal gangue mines.
