The feature matching function is similar to the "format brush" of Office software. Using feature matching can quickly copy the properties of existing objects to new objects. The feature matching in Zhongwang CAD+ supports cross-drawing operation. Users can copy the attributes from the old CAD drawings to the objects of the new CAD drawing, which is convenient for CAD drawing format and resource reuse.
By default, Zhongwang CAD+ can match object properties including color, layer, line type, thickness, file, line style, line width, and dimension.

Feature matching steps:
1. Click the "Feature Match" button to execute the feature matching command.
2. Select the source object: Select the object whose characteristics you want to copy.
After selecting the source object, the cursor changes to a small brush style 
. The command window displays "current active settings: color layer line type linear line width line thickness text label fill pattern polyline viewport table", indicating that the above characteristics of the source object are copied.
3. Select the target object or [Settings (S)]: Select the object to which the feature is to be copied or enter S for the property setting.
The user can select one or frame multiple objects as the target object and copy the feature to the target object until the ENTER or ESC key is pressed to end the command.
In Zhongwang CAD+, the characteristics of the selected object can be matched between multiple drawings, which can not only unify the image format, but also improve the drawing efficiency.
By default, Feature Matching copies all the properties of the source object. If there are some features, we don't want to copy it. After selecting the "source object", you can enter S on the command line, activate the "Property Settings" option, and open the "Property Settings" dialog box shown below. The basic characteristics of the object, as well as the special characteristics of some objects, if we do not want to copy which feature, directly remove the checkmark in front of the feature.
