However, just a few days ago, Julian Melchiorri, a graduate student of the Royal College of Art in the United Kingdom, created the first human leaves that require only carbon dioxide, water, and light to produce oxygen. Melchiorri said: "This material performs very well on stable (chloroplast) organelles."
In addition to its use in space travel, Melchiorri imagines that this technology can provide fresh air to the human body on Earth, whether it is indoors or outdoors. People just need to apply this layer of leaf material on the exterior wall of the building and the lampshades in the room to breathe fresh air.
