For the sows with more than 2 live piglets, the protein levels were 11.5%, 13.8%, 15.9%, 18.0% and 20.2%, respectively, and the corresponding lysines were 0.61%, 0.74%, 0.87%. Effects of 1.0% and 1.12% of five isoenergetic diets on sow breeding, lactation and plasma urea nitrogen and free amino acid content. The results showed that with the increase of protein and lysine intake, the weight loss of sows during lactation decreased (P<0.05), and the amount of lactation increased significantly (P<0.05). The litter weight of piglets at 20 and 35 days of age was significantly affected by the nutritional level of the sow diet (P<0.05 or P<0.01).
