The quarantine pests intercepted by eucalyptus wood are Platypus sp., which is a non-Chinese species.
It is reported that the batch of European oak wood plates from Italy, totaling approximately 50 tons, 64.51 cubic meters, and the value of 28,061.86 euros, were loaded into two 40-foot containers from Nanjing Longtan Port. When inspection and quarantine personnel carried out on-site inspections at Longtan Port, several drill-and-drilled wood pests were intercepted on the spot. They were immediately sampled and sent for inspection, and the goods were immediately fumigated.
The genus Chrysospora (non-Chinese species) and genus Chinensis (non-Chinese species) are mainly located in the tropical and subtropical regions. Drilling and boring trees cause serious damage to the wood and cause the wood to lose its use value.
