CPI's new Clik-Nut(TM) solves the problem of mounting traditional lock nuts

Tool-free design reduces manual and installation time by at least 70%

West Lake Village, California, September 1, 2016 -

The newly developed Clik-Nut(TM) hardware component from Chatsworth Products (CPI) solves the basic problem of installing and removing traditional lock nuts. This patent-pending extrusion pull-out design eliminates the need for tools that simplify and speed up installation, saving at least 70% of installation time.

Installation and removal of standard lock nut hardware is difficult and time consuming. The force required to install the lock nut exceeds the force of the human finger. Therefore, the installer is often hurt by fingers and nails are injured. CPI's Clik-Nut hardware component solves these problems.

Sam Rodriguez, Senior Product Manager, CPI Cabinet and Thermal Solutions, said: "Anyone who has touched the lock nut knows that it is not easy to install and remove the lock nut. Installation is difficult and painful without special tools; When tools are needed, they are always not found, and there is no tool for installing and disassembling the lock nut. There are more and more places where the factory needs to install the lock nut, and the opinions of the customers over the years have prompted us to take it seriously. this problem."

The advantages of new products include:

· No tools required - Squeeze and pull out design makes installation easier, faster and safer

High load bearing strength - same strength and reliability as standard lock nuts

· Versatility - fully compatible with .375" (9.5 mm) EIA stamping square holes

With this hardware, simply place the Clik-Nut in the matching fixing hole, squeeze and pull out the tab, and the Clik-Nut is fixed in place for equipment installation.

CPI's Clik-Nut hardware components are available in 25, 250 and 1000 pieces and are available in a variety of threads: M6, 12-24 and 10-32. The threaded markings on the Clik-Nut are easily identifiable and the surface is galvanized and treated.

Rodriguez said: "I am very pleased that we have introduced a new Clik-Nut design. I believe that our customers will be satisfied. We are not creating better tools, but we are going to destroy the tools. The end result shows that this is an Traditional fastening methods have the same high reliability, fast, safe and simple design."
