2 When reading, pay attention to whether the half-millimeter mark on the fixed scale has been exposed.
3 When reading, there is an estimated number in the thousandth position, which cannot be thrown away. Even if the zero point of the fixed scale is exactly aligned with a certain scale line of the movable scale, it should be read as 0 on the thousandth.
4 When the small anvil and the micrometer screw are close together, the zero point of the movable scale does not coincide with the zero point of the fixed scale, and a zero error will occur, which should be corrected, that is, the value of the zero error is removed from the reading of the last measured length.

1. Check if the zero line is accurate;
2. The workpiece should be wiped clean by the measuring surface during the measurement;
3. When the workpiece is large, it should be placed on a V-shaped iron or flat plate;
4. Wipe the measuring rod and the anvil clean before measuring;
5. Ratchet device is required to screw the movable sleeve;
6. Do not loosen the back cover to avoid zero line change;
7. Do not add normal oil between the fixed sleeve and the movable sleeve;
8. Wipe the oil after use, put it in a special box and put it in a dry place.
