1. **Cable Connector Sealing**
To prevent oil leakage from the cable leads, not only is the cable sealed at the outer connection point, but the inner connector is also sealed with epoxy glue. The cable and power connector are firmly connected and strictly sealed to ensure insulation and improve operational reliability. This prevents any oil or water from entering the electrical components.
2. **Bearing System for Axial Stability**
To ensure the reliability of the motor’s mechanical seal, the rotor must remain axially stable during operation. To achieve this, two different-sized single-row radial thrust bearings are installed at the lower part of the motor. These bearings help absorb both upward and downward axial forces generated by the pump. They are secured with nuts to prevent any vertical movement of the shaft, ensuring that the static and dynamic mechanical seals remain intact and do not separate, which could lead to oil leakage or water ingress.
3. **Packing Structure and Oil Protection Signal Device**
To prevent well water from entering the motor, the internal hydraulic pressure must be kept higher than the external water pressure. A packing device is installed at the lower part of the motor, consisting of an oil bag, a jacket, a gland, and a spring. After the motor is filled with insulating oil, the spring exerts pressure on the oil bag, maintaining internal pressure. When the system is working properly, only a small amount of insulating oil may slowly leak through the mechanical seal, while well water cannot penetrate into the motor. This provides an effective barrier against water intrusion.
