Vitrified brick processing method

When it comes to cutting vitrified bricks into walls, the process offers a variety of creative and functional benefits. Here’s a detailed look at how this is done and what makes vitrified bricks stand out:

1. Vitrified bricks create a stronger three-dimensional effect, adding depth and visual interest to any space.

2. After cutting, the edges are smooth and textured, giving a refined and professional finish.

3. These bricks can be cut freely into various shapes and sizes, allowing for custom designs, patterns, or even text. In home cabinets or wall spaces, they help create a more harmonious and visually rich environment. Through techniques like slotting and cutting, the design becomes more dynamic, offering flexibility to suit individual preferences.

4. Vitrified bricks are available in multiple sizes and specifications, making them suitable for both large living areas and small shops. Their versatility ensures an impressive overall look regardless of the space.

5. When used in cabinets, bathrooms, and living rooms, they help create a seamless transition between different areas. They also echo the floor tiles in the living room, resulting in a neat and uniform appearance.

6. One of the main advantages of vitrified bricks is that they are fired at high temperatures for a long time, resulting in a fully vitrified body with a water absorption rate of less than 0.1%. This means no need to soak the bricks before installation, saving time and effort.

7. The surface of vitrified bricks is polished during processing, making it flat and smooth. As a result, they become highly hydrophilic and can become slippery when wet, so extra care should be taken in wet areas.

8. Vitrified bricks offer a decorative effect similar to natural stone but without the harmful radiation. They are also easier to maintain in daily use. When grooving, the shadows created by the grooves enhance the contrast with light-colored bricks. Therefore, the groove design on light-colored bricks should be simple, while dark-colored bricks can handle more complex patterns. Using different lengths or square mosaics can make dark bricks appear less rigid and more elegant. Whether used alone or paired with light-colored bricks, they provide a flexible and stylish look. Since the base of the brick is colored, there’s no issue with color variation in the grooves.

Maintenance of vitrified tiles is straightforward. During decoration and daily use, keep the wall and floor clean by removing dust and other contaminants regularly. When laying the floor, place a small mat near the entrance to wipe off sand from shoes. Avoid dragging hard objects across the surface, and never use sharp tools to scratch the wall. During installation, avoid letting marble glue come into contact with the brick surface. If it does, remove it immediately using the appropriate cleaning agent to prevent long-term stains.

For monthly maintenance of vitrified tile walls, consider these two methods:

Method 1: Mix SN interface adhesive, cement, and yellow sand in a 1:1:1 ratio to form a paste. Brush a thin layer on the back of the vitrified brick, let it dry, then apply cement mortar as usual.

Method 2: First, mix 801 glue (5–8% of the cement quantity) with pure cement slurry and brush it onto the wall surface. After drying for 24 hours, apply cement mortar (1:1) directly to the back of the brick. For better results, you can add 3–5% 801 glue to the cement mortar mixture.
