Fourth quarter earnings are not optimistic

Fourth quarter earnings are not optimistic WISCO released three quarterly reports on Monday evening, offering a mixed picture of the company's performance in the first nine months of 2013. The company reported a net profit of 651 million yuan, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 98.44%, or 0.064 yuan per share. This growth highlights a recovery from previous challenges, though it is important to consider the broader market context. During the same period, Wuhan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. recorded operating revenue of 66.659 billion yuan, which saw a slight decline of 0.84% compared to the same period last year. However, the company noted a sharp rise in non-operating income, largely attributed to increased government subsidies received during the period. This suggests that external financial support played a key role in stabilizing its overall performance. Meanwhile, Shagang Co., Ltd. also released its quarterly results, revealing a different trend. Its operating revenue for the first three quarters of the year dropped by 11.78% to 7.96 billion yuan, but net profit attributable to listed companies surged by 251.6% to 14.907 million yuan. This improvement was driven by a modest recovery in the steel market, as well as better cost management and product optimization strategies implemented by the company. Shagang’s operating profit for the period reached 21,876,400 yuan, up by 84,344,900 yuan from the previous year. The company attributed this gain to a slight improvement in market conditions compared to the same period in 2012, despite ongoing challenges such as falling product prices and rising raw material costs. In 2012, the steel market experienced significant volatility, with a sharp drop in prices during the third quarter leading to substantial losses. However, through measures such as cost-cutting and restructuring in 2013, Shagang managed to stabilize operations and achieve a small profit. Looking ahead, Shagang has expressed optimism about the full-year performance, projecting a net profit of between 26 million and 33 million yuan for 2013. This represents a year-on-year growth of 15% to 45%, indicating that the company is on track to recover from previous difficulties and improve its financial standing in the coming months.

Polish Solid

Solid polish is a commonly used grinding material in the polishing process. Depending on its purpose, grinding accuracy, and applicable materials, it can be divided into the following categories:

Classified by grinding accuracy

-Coarse wax: Strong cutting force, mainly used to remove deep scratches, oxide layers or burrs on the surface of objects, laying the foundation for subsequent fine polishing, suitable for the initial polishing stage.
-Medium wax: Between coarse wax and fine wax, it can further refine the surface, eliminate the traces left by coarse wax, and make the surface smoother.
-Fine wax (mirror wax): High grinding accuracy, weak cutting force, can form a bright mirror effect on the surface of the object, commonly used in the final stage of polishing to enhance surface glossiness.
Classified by applicable materials
Metal Polishing Wax: specially designed for metal materials such as stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc., it can effectively remove oxide scale and scratches on the metal surface, and enhance the reflectivity of the metal.
Stone polishing wax: suitable for marble, granite and other stones, it can fill the small pores on the surface of the stone, increase the luster and wear resistance of the stone.
Plastic polishing wax: Developed based on the characteristics of plastic materials to avoid damage to the plastic during the polishing process, while improving the smoothness and brightness of the plastic surface.
The composition and characteristics of different types of solid polish vary, and the appropriate type should be selected according to the specific polishing object and requirements to achieve the best polishing effect.
