For example, recently, the famous Belgian architect Vincent Callebaut proposed a new urban design concept. Simply put, Callebaut designed a marine city, and he named the city Aequorea Victoria, because this futuristic city with a futuristic look looks like a glowing jellyfish.
In Callebaut's design, the entire city is made up of conch-shaped buildings that can extend up to 1000 meters below the sea floor. It is important to note that these buildings are printed in 3D from plastic waste on the ocean. Callebaut described his plan as a 3D printed ocean building using the seventh continent. The so-called Seventh Continental refers to the island formed by human-made garbage on the ocean. The project highlights the importance of keeping the ocean clean and free of waste by using plastic waste in its design.
